WELCOME TO AGROTUR FENIX

  

Water Usage: The tap water on the farm comes from a rainwater reservoir and is treated to ensure it’s safe to drink. However, rain is infrequent on the island, so we kindly ask that you use water responsibly; keep showers short, turn off the tap while brushing your teeth, and avoid leaving water running while washing dishes. On the rest of the island, water is desalinated. While safe to drink, it has a slightly unpleasant taste but it does not pose any health risks.

 

Pest Control: We’ve never had cockroaches in our rentals and hope to keep it that way! However, we are prone to ants. Please help us by avoiding crumbs on the floor and keeping food packages sealed. During humid weather, we may also encounter black millipedes. These creatures are harmless and will simply crawl away when touched. We recommend avoiding crushing them, as it can create an unpleasant noise and mess.

 

Recycling and Waste: Please remember to recycle. Rinse containers before placing them in the appropriate bins. We separate plastic (including milk and juice cartons), glass, and paper. Please do not leave garbage bags outside overnight, as stray cats may have noisy "parties" with them. We also compost—only fruits, vegetables, coffee grounds and eggshells are accepted.

 

Air Conditioning & Heating: When using the air conditioner or heater, please ensure all windows are closed. To conserve energy, kindly turn off the unit when you are not in the room.

 

Jacuzzi Use: Before using the jacuzzi, rinse off thoroughly to avoid introducing sand, hair products, or sunscreen into the water. No splashing, this is not a swimming pool. Please do not put your head in the water, and tie back long hair to avoid accidents. For your safety, do not adjust the jacuzzi settings; simply use the jet button. If you have heart conditions or young children, please consult medical guidelines before use. No glass or food containers are allowed—plastic glasses are available in the BBQ cabinets (on the back terrace). Always close the lid when the jacuzzi is not in use.

 

Bathroom Ventilation: Please ensure to crack a window before taking a bath or shower to allow moisture to escape.

 

Respect for Others: We kindly ask that you respect other guests by adhering to a curfew of 11 pm.

 

Kitchen Care: Please avoid placing hot dishes or cutting food directly on the kitchen counter. We provide wooden boards for this purpose.  Please refrain from using the cooktop as a counter, as it can cause unnecessary scratches. Only place pots and pans on it when you're actively using it.

 

Key & Property Care: Please note that you will be charged for lost keys, remotes, or any damages.

 

Footwear: We strongly encourage removing shoes inside the rentals, as small rocks on the path can get everywhere, potentially damaging floors and carpets.

 

Gym:  No outdoor shoes are allowed inside the gym.  Please close all the lights and windows before leaving.  Bring your dirty towels in your apartment.  Children under the age of 16 are not allowed without adult supervision.

 

Pool:  Awaiting permit and construction.

 

Bus:  We have a bus stop walking distance.  Journeys are long but efficient.  Usually, 6 times a day from 7:00 to 20:15, bus stop name Camino Garcia Ruiz. To view the schedule, go to guaguasglobal.com and look for linea 24 (L24).

 

Activities on the premises:

• Star gazing.  Spectacular, we recommend using the house rooftop for a 3600 view.

• Fire ring.

• Board games.

• Outdoor yoga lessons at a nearby finca (€€)

• Books are at your disposal, please do not bring them home with you (unless you replace with another book) so that our next guests can also enjoy them.
